Volunteer Opportunities
Become a Volunteer!
Becoming a volunteer for the Sheboygan Senior Community, you acquire a source of personal satisfaction and growth. In addition to making a difference in the lives of residents and their families, volunteers develop creativity, meet new people, explore new careers and grow personally.

- Showing videos, DVD's and slides
- Outdoor walks
- Bring a pet to visit
- Visiting one-on-one with residents

- Writing cards
- Residential services (running errands)
- Assist as a chaperon on an outing
- Clerical assistance
- Landscape and gardening
- Special events
Share your talents with our residents!
Perhaps you have a hobby or craft to share. Our residents would love to hear programs on travel, programs from scouts, day-care centers or new happenings in our community. Share your gifts, your smile and make a difference.
Why Volunteer?
People volunteer for a wide variety of reasons. Some like the feeling of helping others and making seniors feel useful and needed. Some like to share a skill, get to know new people or just do something different than their job.
Whatever your reason may be, just getting out and volunteering is important. Whether you volunteer as a group, a family, with a friend or as an individual, your time will be greatly appreciated. Please call and discuss your interest with us at 458-2137.
